Does your company have free samples they would like
to provide to a bunch of (very appreciative) runners. If so, we would be very
happy to include your items in our race packets. Runners really love freebies!
Just drop us a line and we'll do the rest. steveboone@aol.com
You can sponsor a mud hole for $25. We'll put your name on one of our many mud holes so
that the runners can cheer or boo you as they splash through the mud. Sponsorships
are available on the online sign-up or the mail in sign-up.
Volunteers:
Responsible adults please contact Steve Boone at steveboone@aol.com
if you would like to be a Mud Marshall on the course, help with package pickup on Friday
afternoon and/or race morning, be a parking official, or volunteer at the aid stations.
We will give you a pat on the back and a great volunteer shirt.
PRESS RELEASE:
The 2nd Annual Lake Houston Area
Shrine Club Run, aka Mud Maxx will be held at 9 AM on June 19, 2010 at Townsen Lakes
Office Condominiums, 20550 Townsen Boulevard, Humble, TX
77338. The run consists of 3.1 miles of
trails, mud, and obstacles. The net proceeds will benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children,
which are solely supported by contributions from Shriners, their families, and the general
public. All contributions are tax deductible

Shriners Hospitals provide some of the best
orthopedic, burn care and spinal cord injury rehabilitation in the world. These children walk in the doors of Shriners
Hospitals with missing limbs, with curved spines, severe burns and other conditions that
have left them and their families without much hope. These
children receive the best medical care available, as well as the hope and strength they
need to live longer and more fulfilling lives. Each
hospital is dedicated to providing expert medical care to children under the age of 18
without regard to race, color, creed, sex, or sect, and absolutely free of charge.
The
Lake Houston Area Shrine Club is accepting donations and sponsorships for the event and
would like to ask for your continued support. We
are in need of merchandise, services, or gift certificates we can use as door prizes,
raffle and auction items. Each participant will receive a t-shirt, dog tag, and loads of
fun. We hope that you will be a part of this charity event by participating as a sponsor,
runner or walker.
