Race day registration:
Registration opens at 7:30 am and closes promptly at 8:45 am on Saturday, June 8th at the
race site. Print out and complete an application.
Cash or check only - $35 race day. Shirt sizes not
guaranteed after 6/1/11. We will do our best to accomodate everyone. (We hope we can
guess correctly using our Magic 8 Ball.)
Hill climbing, mud crawling, slime avoiding, trail running through good ol' Humble, Texas
mud. The course is 5K-ish and guaranteed to make you muddy.
There is also a 1 mile Mud Mini for children ages 3-7. This will allow them to run a mile
of the race and get muddy if they have no interest in participating in the 5K
distance. Older children who have some running experience would probably enjoy the
challenge of the 5K rather than the Mud Mini. Children are not allowed to go in the
mud unattended. Parents who want to accompany their
children in the 1 mile event, do not have to register for the Mud Mini. If
you have a child running the 1 mile Mud Mini, their race starts at 8:45. The 5K will
not start until all the children have completed their event.

- We are not responsible for your personal gear but we will have an attended drop bag area
- Do not let your children go in the mud unattended
- Wear a cool costume! There will be prizes based on creativity. Team themes, Mad
Max, Smurfs, pirates, cheerleaders, critters, and guys in drag have been seen on the
- No pets, no strollers, no bikes, no rollerblades, no skateboards allowed on course
- Bites and boo-boos are not our fault
Untimed 5K-ish running, walking, crawling over, under, through, around mud, slimy goo,
slower participants, etc. We're planning to have plenty of mud, hills, and slimy goo
to keep ya'll busy for a while. Map
The roads have changed a bit from the map, but it's pretty close to the course we plan to
use. If we find areas with more mud, of course we'll run through those instead.
From Highway 59, take the FM 1960 exit or Townsen Blvd exit. The course is located
along Townsen Blvd. just north of FM 1960E.
On site until 8 AM, then on the street as directed by the Humble Police Department.
